Building Youth Power: MRNJ’s youth organizing group is a force to be reckoned with – hundreds of immigrant, Black and Latinx youth have joined the organization, led successful campaigns for:
- Winning Financial Aid for New Jersey Dreamers and Undocumented Youth.
- Including youth in the $15 minimum wage increase.
- Fighting back against DACA’s repeal
- Winning a Student Success Center – a peer lead college prep program – the first of its kind in New Jersey.

Now the Youth Power Project is fighting for the right to vote for 16 and 17 teen year olds through the Vote 16 campaign.
