Residents of the state of New Jersey can apply for a driver’s license regardless of their immigration status. MRNJ offers an interactive virtual program: Escuela de Manejo, for individuals planning to get a drivers license, to prepare them for the driving written test in Spanish.
This is an 8 week program taught virtually via zoom, on Fridays 6 – 9 pm. The curriculum for the classes is based on the New Jersey Driver Manual. The classes are in Spanish and include pre-tests, post-tests and practice tests. Students also learn about the process of applying for a driver’s license.
Classes are FREE for MRNJ members. Membership is $10 a month and gets you access to all classes, other support services, and the opportunity to build community and make change in your community! If you are not a member please click the appropriate link below to become a member before registering:
